ü Bottles - milk, water, soft drinks etc - if possible rinse and remove lids (place lids loose in bag/box) ü Plastic Buckets ü Builders sacks – please shake or turn inside out ü Bulk Bags/Dumpy Bags – shake out ü Bumpers & dashboards - no foam filled bumpers ü Carrier Bags/plastic sacks ü Chemical containers - must be triple rinsed & have foils removed & labels removed or defaced ü Compost Bins – shake or rinse if possible ü Crates/Trays – all sources; bread, fruit, milk, soft drinks mushrooms, beer, etc ü Drums & Barrels - must be thoroughly rinsed ü Fertilizer Bags - inner & outer must be separated and tags/ties removed ü Plastic Pallets ü Plastic Pipes ü Plant pots & Seed trays - bang out dirt ü Plastic Bollards & Barriers ü Plastic Trays ü Plastic/PVC Guttering & Pipes ü Poly tunnels - must be cut into bag size lengths ü Polythene - remove paper labels/sticky tape ü PVC window frames ü Shrink-Wrap - remove paper labels/ sticky tape ü Stacking/Storage Boxes ü Traffic Cones – rubber bases removed ü Traffic Lights ü Wheelie Bins ü Plus any plastic that has a recycling symbol other than a number 7
Non Plastic Items
ü Cardboard – must be flat Packed Paper – including magazines, newspapaers, brochures etc. ü Aluminium & Steel cans – must be rinsed & have any paper labels removed. ü Wire ü CDs and DVDs - please keep separate ü Mobile Phones ü Printer Toner Cartridges
As far as possible, please place items either in boxes or into clear plastic bags/sacks for ease of handling.
(We can supply large clear sacks @ 10 for £1.50 if required).
Please note, unfortunately we are currently unable to accept the following items:
